What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Chef position at Bear Spring Camps?
We are looking for an Evening Chef at our American plan sporting camp for the upcoming season from May 15th to September 21st. We serve two meals a day: Breakfast, 7:30am to 10am and Supper, 5pm to 7pm. The evening position is responsible for the supper meal but the schedule can be flexible. We have anywhere from 60 to 130 guests during our season. For Supper, we work off of a set menu. Each night you would make 3 dishes for our guests with at least one vegetarian option. We have a set the menu for you to work from. In addition to feeding our guests you would also be responsible for feeding the waitstaff and kitchen staff before meals (as well as yourself if you wish). Most dishes will be made up before the meal hour and just dished up to order others will be made to order. Pay is negotiable depending upon experience. We offer a bonus for working the entire season.
