**Position Description: Corporate Compliance and Program Integrity Officer w/EMPHASIS IN HR & LEGAL**
- CORPORATE COMPLIANCE** - Responsible for oversight, monitoring, auditing, education, training and consultation with employed and subcontracted provider staff related to organizational compliance with State and Federal law and regulation applicable to health care privacy, security, integrity, and ethics, as well as compliance with Medicaid, Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and other service contracts. Functions as Chair of the Center's Quality Improvement Committee, primary contact and liaison with external quality review organizations, spearheads all corrective action plans subsequent to external audits. Responsible for Medicaid Performance Report, grievance and appeals reports, performance measures, and performance improvement projects. Assists in development of organizational compliance related policy and procedure, as well as tools, resources and materials applicable to compliance with Medicaid provider manuals, contract specifications and assurances, Area Plans, and Division directives. Responsible for Human Resource policy maintenance and development, and employee investigations, including possible future expansion in HR responsibilities.
- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION - MENTAL HEALTH LAW AND COURT SERVICES** - Provides administrative oversight and consultation on mental health law, policy and practice relative to involuntary civil commitment. Provides procedural support in civil commitment cases as needed, and functions as trainer for Mental Health Officers.
- Other Secondary Activities include but are not limited to** - Attending supervision appointments and team and organization meetings as scheduled. Maintaining an automated schedule, reflecting the FTE availability within Center hours, in order to be consistently available to Center staff and clients. Complete accurate time sheet records reflecting the appropriate activity code by 30 minutes past closing of the next business day. Obtain approval from immediate supervisor on any and all leave taken. Attending trainings within and outside of the Center for job development. Responsible for Worker's Comp reporting and Safety Committee.

- Ability to behave ethically and to understand and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
- Administrative and organizational skills necessary for effective program coordination and liaison work.
- Conduct tasks in a safe manner, uphold Center safety policies, and report perceived safety issues to appropriate sources.
- EDUCATIONAL AND/OR PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS** - Masters degree or a Juris Doctorate (preferred), Bachelor's degree (required) in related HR/Business/Hospital or Health Care Administration field. Mental health law experience and mental health administrat
