Function: Provides a superlative service to Bear River Health clients, guests, visitors, co-workers in performing all housekeeping duties. This requires more attention to detail in the following procedures than typical housekeeping situation.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follows detailed worksheet for each facility cleaning and client room.
- Completes inventory of room contents on form provided. Provides information on any missing items to the superintendent.
- Cleaned building floors and walls by sweeping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Change bedding and makes beds as directed.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Cleaned and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and the equipment.
- Move and arrange furniture, and turned mattresses.
- Make adjustments two heating, cooling and ventilating systems.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Polished floors.
- Clean chimneys, flues, and connecting pipes, using power and hand tools.
- Drive vehicles required to perform cleaning work.
- Spray insecticides and fumigants as directed to prevent insect infestation.
- Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.
- Sort, count, and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets.
- Observe precautions required to protect the facility and client property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Carey linens, towels, a toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts or by hand as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Six months of housekeeping experience. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel including clients and guests. If must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Strong candidates will demonstrate the following characteristics: Completion of high school or GED equivalent, supplemented by at least 6 months of experience in housekeeping and facility cleaning maintenance, repair and operations of a wide variety of assorted cleaning or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
