Job Summary
Gate Attendant / Security Check-In
We are looking for a dependable and responsible Dispatcher to monitor the entrance of an industrial plant. This is primarily a seated office/gate position with simple check-in responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance gate and open the gate for authorized vehicles.
- Check in drivers and visitors entering the plant.
- Record the driver’s name, vehicle/unit number, and license plate number.
- Maintain an accurate log of vehicles and individuals entering and leaving the plant.
- Direct drivers and visitors to the appropriate area of the plant.
- Monitor cameras throughout the shift.
- Make a few routine rounds around the plant during the shift to check that everything is in order.
- Report any unusual activity or issues when necessary.
- Keep the gate/office area organized.
Qualifications
- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Basic reading, writing, and record-keeping skills.
- Able to pay attention to vehicle and visitor activity.
- Professional and respectful when communicating with drivers, employees, and visitors.
This is a low-physical-demand position. Most of the shift is spent inside a office monitoring cameras and checking vehicles in and out, with occasional rounds around the plant.
