Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of landscape construction projects, including site preparation, patio installations, retaining walls, and other hardscape installations
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled workers, providing clear instructions and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines
- Oversee the installation of trees, lawns, gardens, and other landscaping features with precision and attention to detail
- Manage equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and material deliveries to keep projects on track
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction to ensure high standards are met
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to clarify project scope and address any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising landscaping or construction crews in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture projects
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques including lawn care, tree care, irrigation systems, and gardening practices
- Hands-on experience with landscape construction tools and equipment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with plant health care, soil management, and sustainable landscaping practices
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans accurately
