What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL/Dump Truck Driver position at Bear General Contractors LLC.?
Bear General Contractors in Pensacola, FL is looking to add an experienced dump truck driver to our Site/Civil crew. Must have a valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement, valid DOT Medical Certificate, and be able to pass a drug test.
Primary duties will be hauling materials and equipment to/from job sites. May operate skid steer or other equipment when not operating dump truck.
Position Overview:
Determining the details of each delivery.
Ensuring that the dump truck has sufficient fuel at all times.
Detail oriented to properly maintain records.
Reporting all vehicle-related issues to Foreman/Superintendent in a timely manner.
Experience operating a dump truck and/or similar vehicles for work purposes.
Ensuring that you are always fit to maneuver the truck.
Compliance with all DOT rules and regulations.
Top-notch time management and interpersonal skills.
Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
Must maintain clean equipment and record daily equipment checklists.
Knowledge of construction site safety.
2 years experience preferred.
May be required to preform manual labor in addition to job duties.
