Overview
We are seeking a proactive and inquisitive Project Analyst/Project Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for project tracking, billing, change orders, interacting with prime contractors and TxDOT officials from start through completion, as well as post completion audits. This position has the capability of developing new responsibilities as we promote from within. This person should be ready to work in a collaborative environment and looking to innovate and multitask on a daily basis. Previous experience is NOT required as we prefer to train people in the methods as we have learned over the past decades.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedules and resources as the project progresses
- Be able to anticipate potential problems and come up with solutions to avoid project impacts
- Track pay item and project completions weekly and compile the information for monthly invoicing
- Allocate labor hours to items of work completed on the project
- Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation
- Be involved with status updates and project meetings
- Analyze project performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes
Requirements
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Investigative and analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
