Store Leader / Operations Manager – Bear Creek Candy Kitchen (Downtown Mount Airy, NC)
Pay: $16–$20/hour Monthly Performance Bonuses

Bear Creek Candy Kitchen is a fast-growing, high-energy candy and gift shop known for handmade pralines, fudge, popcorn, and Blue Bell ice cream. We create an experience—not just a store. Customers come for the products, but they come back for how it feels.
The Role
We are looking for a Store Leader—not just a manager.
This role is responsible for running the store day-to-day, leading the team, driving sales, and making sure every customer has a great experience without needing constant direction from the owner.
If you naturally take ownership, make decisions, and enjoy leading people—this is for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Open and close the store with full accountability
- Lead and manage staff during shifts
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues independently
- Drive sales through upselling, sampling, and strong displays
- Maintain inventory levels and product flow
- Enforce company policies and maintain team standards
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and visually appealing
Compensation & Bonuses
- Base pay: $16–$20/hour (based on experience)
- Monthly bonuses based on:
- Sales performance
- Average ticket growth
- Inventory control
Top performers can earn $38,000–$50,000/year
