What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Shipping and Receiving position at Bear Corporation?
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-focused candidate to join our warehouse shipping staff for a period of 3-6 months, with a possibility of obtaining permanent employment based on performance. An ability to work independently without distraction is a requirement. Prior experience working in a shipping/receiving capacity is helpful, but not required. Must be available 9 AM - 5:30 PM for full time.
What you’ll be doing:
Shipping
- Accurately print, pick, pull, and pack orders with RF scan guns
- Securely palletize large orders, stretch wrap, and load pallets onto trucks.
- Create shipping documents & labels and schedule pickups.
Receiving
- Unload merchandise from shipping containers.
- Restock warehouse shelving with products.
- Perform counts on products to ensure minimal inventory discrepancy.
Other duties
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Communicate regularly with the sales, operations, and accounting team.
- Re-arrangement of warehouse racks to fit the needs of the company.
- Occasional errands at the behest of the company.
Qualifications
- Availability to work Monday-Friday until 5:30PM
- Ability to regularly move boxes up to 50 lbs is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred is a plus.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus, but not required.
- Must be comfortable using a computer. Experience Shipstation a plus.
- Prior experience with RF scanners a plus
- General bicycle knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA warehouse requirement is a plus.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
