Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food/beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with guest services principles and practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures/allergies is essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
