Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. We have 10 rooms that need cleaned daily depending on reservations. We are responsible for cleanliness of all bathrooms, bath houses, and common areas. This is a part time position ideal for someone with kids in school, retirees, or that needs a flexible schedule. Hours are 10am-2pm most days. Some weekend days are required. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently but with your team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas.
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation techniques for various surfaces and materials.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including carpet cleaning.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning assignments.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
