Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. We have 10 lodging units we rent out. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas.
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation techniques for various surfaces and materials.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including carpet cleaning.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning assignments.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
