Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of bartending techniques, food service, and cash handling.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, providing beverage service to guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and beverage trends.
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform retail math accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Certification in food handling or responsible beverage service is desirable but not required.
