Job Description: Beantown Physio is currently seeking a part time or full time Pelvic Floor-Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Physical Therapist to join our team. The position will be based in our Brookline clinic. This position offers the opportunity to further develop your professional skills and enjoy independence in your overall autonomy. We encourage the use of manual skills combined with therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and therapeutic activities in your treatment approach.
The Pelvic Floor portion of the position will enable you to develop and further grow our Pelvic Floor clinic. You will have great impact on the marketing, advertising and expansion. If you have a clinical following currently in the Pelvic Floor arena, we can further discuss opportunties. A flexible schedule could be very possible for the part time employee with other responsibilities outside the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including post-operative orthopedic and sports medicine cases, degenerative joint disease, and post-orthopedic injury patients.
- Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and therapeutic activities in patient treatments.
- Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and PTAs to ensure a team-oriented approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- MA licensed Physical Therapist.
- Patient care experience in orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and biomechanics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
