What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher Assistant position at Beanstalk Preschool?
Beanstalk Preschool, near Center City Philadelphia is hiring a part-time assistant teacher. This position is for 32 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe and loving environment for children in his/her care
- Assist with Lesson Implementation
- Verbally engage and play with the children throughout the day
- Toileting or Diaper Changing as needed
- Soothe children when needed
- Put children down for nap time
- Parent Communication
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a High School diploma with two years of child care experience - CDA preferred
- Effective child and parent communication
- Passion for educating and nurturing young children
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds if needed
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Bilingual is a plus
COMPENSATION:
