Role Description The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Bronx, NY. This role is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons that support early childhood learning across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. The Lead Preschool Teacher will design and adapt curriculum, prepare daily activities and learning centers, and maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Daily responsibilities include observing and documenting children’s progress, managing classroom routines, and supporting children with positive behavior guidance. The Lead Preschool Teacher will also collaborate with families and team members, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and ensure compliance with safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications
- Strong background in Early Childhood Education and experience working with preschool or kindergarten-age children.
- Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with age-appropriate standards.
- Excellent Communication skills for building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of kindergarten readiness expectations and best practices for preparing children for the transition to kindergarten.
- Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; state-required certifications or credentials as applicable.
- Experience maintaining a safe, organized classroom and following health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom.
