We offer great daytime hours, fun work environments, and opportunities for advancement and leadership growth.About the General Manager PositionThe General Manager is responsible for both strategic planning and oversight of the day-to-day operations. The General Manager will act as liaison with our museum partner, and ensure each guest has an exceptional Bean Sprouts experience.The General Manager leads and directs all aspects of the Café including:Creating a positive and playful environment for team members and guestsGrowing sales and managing costsManaging the business unit’s profit and loss statement and budget planningHiring, training, and ongoing developmentScheduling and labor managementMaintaining a positive relationship with our museum partnerOrdering and inventory oversightEnsuring exceptional preparation and presentation of all menu itemsMaintaining compliance with all food safety standards and applicable regulationsRequirements:3-5 years of progressive restaurant/café experience including at least one year of full-time general management experience (supervising the whole business unit, including Profit & Loss responsibility)Strong leadership skills and experience with training and developmentExcellent customer service skills; demonstrated sales building, training, and basic computer skillsCulinary training or hands-on experience in the kitchenServSafe or equivalent food handler's permit (if you don't have one, we will help you get one!)Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodationBenefits and PerksMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offDiscounts on food and café merchandiseDiscounts and free tickets to our family destinationsDay time hoursNo grease!Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
