Job Summary
Beamer Tire & Auto Repair is open Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform essential lube and oil changes efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
MANAGE SHOP
- Perform routine lube and oil changes on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during service procedures.
- Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Assist with tire service, including rotation, balancing, and installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Checking in and billing out customers.
- Manage other service technicians to train on best practices for automotive repair and maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service role is preferred, particularly in a quick lube and tire environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including heavy lifting as needed for vehicle servicing.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
