This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machinist located in Manitowoc, WI. The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines, reviewing blueprints or technical drawings, setting up machinery for production runs, and ensuring precision and quality in fabricated parts. The role also includes monitoring machine operations, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, and adhering to safety protocols and standards on the shop floor. Collaboration with team members to meet production deadlines is an essential part of daily responsibilities.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining manual and CNC machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in machine shop environments
