Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting many aspects of Beam’s accounting processes. This role will closely interact with the other teams to ensure proper accounting for their activities.
- Contribute to monthly close processes, such as partnering with other departments regarding accrual determination, issue resolution, journal entries and account reconciliations, including cash and investments.
- Assist with preparation of internal and external financial statements as needed.
- Contribute to system implementations, fundraising, etc.
- Provide support for annual financial statement audits and periodic reviews, including Sarbanes-Oxley control reviews.
- Ad hoc analysis and other special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and collaborative skills.
- Must be able to make judgment calls regarding the resolution of issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task on competing and deadline sensitive priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and process orientated.
Salary : $80,000 - $115,000
