You will be empowered to make the shopping experience thrilling and seamless for our guest and be part of a dedicated team that shows pride and passion in all they do!AS A STORE ASSOCIATE A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:Being part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experience and drives sales through customer serviceBuilding guest loyalty through promoting and educating the guest on credit and loyalty programsAccurately handling register operations and transactionsReceiving, unloading, and processing merchandise from truckExecuting store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experiencePerform general maintenance to ensure cleanliness standards in both interior and exterior store areasUnderstanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and proceduresEngaging in teamwork to accomplish goalsUpholds all safety standardsPerforms other duties as assignedWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC STORE ASSOCIATE:Customer Service Experience PreferredMust have strong verbal communication skillsWork both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goalsHelpful attitude toward guests and other team membersAttention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processesUtilization of Zebra PDA and POS SystemsAbility to work varying hours including early mornings, days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidaysPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodationsMust be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 poundsMust have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)Must possess reliable transportationIf performing maintenance or receiving duties:Must be able to able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbsMust be able to climb a 12ft ladder for maintenance and displaying merchandiseMust be able to reach a minimum of 60 inches for stocking and maintaining merchandise
