Law Clerk (Part-Time) – Family Law Firm

Beal Law Firm – a well-established family law practice serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 30 years – is seeking a motivated Law Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for a current law student who wants practical, real-world experience in a professional family law office while continuing their studies.

What You’ll Do

As a Law Clerk at Beal Law Firm, you’ll have the opportunity to assist our attorneys and staff in a wide variety of tasks, including:

* Assisting with drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence

* Conducting legal research and organizing case materials

* Managing and updating case files and trial binders

* Answering and directing telephone calls in a professional manner

* Delivering and filing documents at local courthouses (as needed)

* Providing general administrative support to attorneys and staff

* Assisting with client intake and scheduling

* Supporting hearings or other legal proceedings when appropriate

What We’re Looking For

* Current law student at an accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L)

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* High attention to detail and organizational ability

* Professional demeanor and willingness to handle a variety of office responsibilities

* Dependability, initiative, and eagerness to learn

Location: This is an in-office position at our Southlake office. Remote work is not available.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate in the range of $16–$19/hour, commensurate with experience and year in law school.
