POSITION: Long-Term Building Substitute
2026-2027 School Year
Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Building Substitute at Major Howard W. Beal School. This position would begin with the start of the school year and would last through December 2026.
We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.
This position will pay a flat daily rate of $140 per day. You could be assigned to any classroom or any role on a daily basis and will make $140 per day in exchange for arriving at your assigned school every day. The position is not eligible for benefits. A teaching license in any subject is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications Include:
•Must be able to work on site
•Bachelor’s Degree or above or equivalent work/military experience
