Summary:
Beal Bank USA’s Strategic Operations team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of business-critical systems. This position plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions — ensuring that system enhancements, integrations, and configurations effectively support strategic goals.
The BA will collaborate closely with the Project Manager , technology teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure solutions are delivered with precision and quality.
The position is onsite in our Plano, TX headquarters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Project Manager to understand operational objectives and system-related needs.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for IT and development teams.
- Analyze, design, and document business/system workflows, data mappings, and process flows.
- Partner with technology teams to design effective, practical, and scalable solutions.
- Propose innovative approaches to business challenges that align with strategic goals.
- Support project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of implemented solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet business and quality standards.
- Develop and present reports, timelines, and visuals to communicate progress and expectations.
- Assist the Project Manager in issue resolution, project tracking, and management updates. Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in the Financial Services or Banking industry strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Smartsheet preferred.
- Experience in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation techniques.
- Understanding of SDLC practices, APIs, database architecture, data mapping, and integration methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic data querying also preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and business leaders . Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
