What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position at Beaird Dermatology, SC?
Beaird Dermatology is looking for a full-time CMA working for a private practice Dermatologist. Experience with Dermatology and Scribing using Modernizing Medicine's EMA solution or another similar EMR a plus!
We are looking for an MA to join our team who has a great attitude, able to work well in a group, can handle fast pace environment and maintain confidential patient records. We have a great group of staff and really promote a team environment.
You must be comfortable working on an iPad and/or general PC office computer programs, as well as having good time management skills.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients and obtaining HPI
- Presenting patient details to physician or physician assistant
- Scribing the office visit
- Assisting in biopsies, blood draws, and performing minor injections
- Returning patient phone calls and patient education
At least 1 year experience with EMR within a medical practice a PLUS!
