Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Representative role based in Tallahassee, FL. We are also offering paid summer internships for students. The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify prospective property management clients through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach. This role will manage inbound leads, conduct discovery conversations, and schedule product demos for the sales team. The position includes maintaining accurate records in the CRM, following up consistently to progress opportunities, and collaborating with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies. The Business Development Representative will also gather market feedback from prospects and clients to support product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience managing outbound and inbound prospecting activities.
- Proven Sales and Business Development abilities, including pipeline management and opportunity qualification.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present solutions clearly and confidently.
- Comfort using CRM and sales engagement tools, and the ability to maintain organized, accurate records of activities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the resilience to handle objections and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Previous experience in SaaS, proptech, or insurance is a plus, but no experience is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
