Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a fabricator or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures in a fabrication environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding or metal fabrication.
- Previous experience with welding aluminum.
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing setting.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal or other materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Perform welding, soldering, or brazing to join materials as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments or repairs as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and resolve fabrication challenges.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
