What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist position at beaconhill?
We are currently recruiting for an accounts payable/payroll specialist for one of out top clients located in Sccottsdale, AZ. This is a fully on-site position in their Scottsdale office and will be contract to hire.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable activities by reviewing, coding, and entering invoices into the property management system while ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with operational leadership and site management teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and support payment approvals.
- Support payroll functions while maintaining compliance with company policies and safeguarding sensitive employee information.
- Review and distribute weekly timesheet data across multiple payroll entities to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of employee paychecks and earnings statements.
- Assist with special payroll transactions, including final pay calculations, manual checks, employee advances, and other payroll-related adjustments.
- Maintain organized financial and payroll records, ensuring documentation is complete and readily available for audits, reporting, and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll administration, property management accounting, or a related field.
- Experience working with property management and payroll platforms; exposure to ResMan and Payroll Experts is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
