What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medical Technician - Basic position at Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps?
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) performs skilled technical work in rendering emergency first-aid as well as basic life support medical treatment in emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess valid NYS EMT and CPR certifications.
- One year of experience as an EMT.
- Possess a valid NYS driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Have the ability to lift 125 pounds
- Have general computer skills.
