Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager (PMP required) to support our Enterprise Work & Asset Management (EWAM) Program. This role will lead the discovery, planning, and delivery of complex technology initiatives, with a primary focus on enhancing existing IBM Maximo Asset Management functionality and supporting select new software implementations.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded IT Project Manager with strong business analysis, critical thinking, and communication skills who can effectively partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop business cases, evaluate solutions, and successfully deliver technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and develop business cases.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and guide decision-making through data-driven analysis, risk assessment, and dependency management.
- Develop project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, communication plans, and resource strategies.
- Lead technology projects through initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closeout.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, vendors, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with program resources, including Project Managers and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams.
- Ensure successful adoption, operational readiness, and transition of delivered solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
- 5 years of experience managing medium-to-large technology projects.
- Proven experience implementing software and enterprise applications.
- Strong business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Utility industry experience.
- Experience with IBM Maximo or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms.
- Experience with business case development, requirements gathering, and technology solution evaluation.
- Experience managing vendor-delivered solutions and working within large, matrixed organizations.
Salary : $70 - $75
