What You’ll Do as a Day Program Professional
As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities, building skills, and promoting independence and community inclusion.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming
- Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills
- Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals
- Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings
- Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
- Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
- Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
- Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
- Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- GED or High School Diploma
