What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (PT) - Fee for Service (FFS) or Part Time position at Beacon Services of Connecticut?
Beacon Services of Connecticut provides Early Intervention specialty services to families throughout the state. Join our team and work with a dedicated, multidisciplinary group of clinicians!
Our Physical Therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide evaluation, treat planning, and family coaching. Our PT's synthesize evaluation results and use evidence-based interventions to facilitate infant and toddler development.
Qualifications:
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Some pediatric experience helpful
- Current Licensure by relevant state board or agency
- Current malpractice insurance
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain information to families and other team members.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to formulate treatment plans using evidence based approaches.
- Ability to work with families to set and achieve realistic goals
Work Setting:
- Working in family homes - will require some travel within an assigned location
Work Hours:
- Various Session Times available
- Flexible between 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday through Friday unless other arrangements are made
