As a Certified Medication Aid, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications to our patients.
About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to prepare and administer medications to patients, as well as monitor and record medication administration. You will also assist with various administrative tasks, such as obtaining medication supplies and stocking medication carts.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional
Monitor and record medication administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Restock and maintain medication supplies and carts
Assist with administrative tasks, such as ordering medication supplies and processing medication requests
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient-centered care
Requirements:
Certified Medication Aid (CMA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
0 years of experience (entry-level opportunity available)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
