Be the Backbone of Beacon's Transportation Team as a CDL-A Truck Driver.

At Beacon Recycling, our Truck Drivers are trusted professionals who keep our operation moving safely and reliably every day.
As a CDL-A Truck Driver, your day starts early and follows a structured routine. You'll operate roll-off, lugger, and double roll-off trailers to service customer accounts throughout West Michigan, safely transporting scrap metal between customer sites and Beacon yards. You'll focus on executing each run accurately, following DOT requirements, maintaining your truck, and representing Beacon with professionalism at every stop. This role rewards drivers who are patient, methodical, and attentive to detail, people who prefer doing solid work over cutting corners.
This position is well-suited for someone who values stability and clear processes. Routes, expectations, and safety procedures are established so you can focus on execution. While the work environment involves interactions with customers and the yard teams, communication is straightforward and task-focused. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience driving a Class A truck
- Manual and Automatic Transmission
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Current DOT medical card or ability to acquire one required
- Previous scrap metal experience is a plus
- Doubles Endorsement is a plus
- Heavy Haul Experience is a plus
