What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at Beacon Property Management?
Immediate opening for a full time, highly organized and professional Leasing Professional for a 144 unit apartment community in the Barstow area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible for working with the Community Manager, Regional Manager and property staff in attaining income and occupancy goals.
· Welcomes prospective residents to community, and leases apartments, utilizing company policies and procedures, and Fair Housing guidelines.
· Responsible for helping to ensure the community is consistently maintained in a clean, appealing manner.
· Completes move-in/move-out inspections with residents.
· Initiates core business processes, including leasing and resident relations, marketing, maintenance, vendor relations.
· Works with staff and vendors to help ensure all tour paths, amenities, and model apartments are always ready to show.
· Works with staff and vendors to ensure that all apartments scheduled for move-in are “move-in” ready.
· Answers incoming phone calls professionally, and regularly monitors resident satisfaction by utilizing customer service skills.
· Assists with resident functions.
· Assists with preparation of reporting information and data, submits requested information to Community Manager as necessary and as requested.
· Maintains an awareness of local market and community trends and conditions.
· Actively shops competitive communities
· Actively participates in outreach marketing programs.
· Actively participates in community safety and training programs.
· Physically inspects community daily; reports and/or follows up as necessary.
· Understands and complies with all Federal, State and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
· Maintains a positive customer relations attitude.
· Performs any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
· Serves as a substitute for the Assistant Manager when necessary.
