Core Responsibilities
Practice Performance & Growth Support
- Support practice-level growth by identifying opportunities to treat more patients through improved access, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Partner with offices to improve key performance areas such as phone answer rate, phone-to-scheduled conversion, consult-to-treatment conversion, and patient re-engagement.
- Provide operational insight and recommendations that align with broader Practice Development goals.
- Review and interpret operational and performance data across practices.
- Prepare clear, easy-to-understand metrics, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and office teams.
- Use data as a tool for shared understanding, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Support multiple initiatives across practices, helping teams stay focused on priorities and follow through on improvements.
- Identify workflow gaps or friction points that impact patient, staff, or surgeon experience.
- Help practices implement and sustain practical changes that lead to measurable improvement.
- Coach and train oral surgery office teams and managers to strengthen performance and consistency.
- Encourage a culture of ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving, with a focus on saying “yes” to patients whenever possible.
- Reinforce a 5-star patient experience mindset across all patient touchpoints, from first call through follow-up.
- Work closely with Practice Development, operations, and clinical leaders to ensure alignment and shared priorities.
- Support adoption of new tools, workflows, and standards in a way that feels practical and achievable for office teams.
- 3 years of experience in oral surgery, preferably at the practice or multi-practice level, with a solid understanding of front-office operations, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Experience training and supporting oral surgery staff to improve patient, staff, and surgeon experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
- Clear, approachable communicator who can work effectively with leadership, clinicians, and front-line teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Experience preparing and working with metrics, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and thoughtful in identifying patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Improved phone answer rate and capture of incoming patient demand
