The Financial Analyst role will be responsible for summarizing and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting the business operators to promote and drive Beacon’s financial health. This role will work closely with various departments to assess and monitor financial performance, develop budgets and forecasts, analyze the P&L and provide insights into operational improvements.
What You’ll Do:
- Build the story: Key member in developing monthly financial and operational board decks for presentation to internal management and business operators.
- Own functional responsibilities: Critical monthly and quarterly tasks such as preparing revenue recognition and physician compensation.
- Influence strategic decisions: Prepare and distribute financial analysis and reporting packages by gathering and analyzing P&L information related to current performance.
- Drive forecasting and planning: Develop detailed financial forecasts incorporating key financial and operational metrics.
- Deliver actionable insights: Prepare sensitivity analysis impact on revenue, expenses and profitability by modeling changes in key variables (recommending appropriate course of action).
- Model business outcomes: Decision support for business unit leaders through financial and operational ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Financial Performance Tracking: By analyzing trends and forecasting future financial outcomes, the role will help ensure that the company stays on track to meet its financial targets and remains healthy in a competitive market.
- Ensuring Accuracy of Financials: The role will work closely with the Accounting team to ensure the fidelity of reported financial activity to internal stakeholders as well as investors.
- Promoting Accountability: To help reach targets, this role will work closely with various departments and field operators to help drive material improvements and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced Excel, SQL (preferable) (Adaptive Planning experience a plus).
- Healthcare experience and knowledge a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Bachelors in Accounting, Financial, or related field
- Strong functional expertise in Finance and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc work)

- On-site position – working onsite is an essential requirement of this role. Opportunity to work remote 1 day per week after three months, based on manager discretion.
