We are seeking a passionate, full-time clinician who loves working with young children to join our growing Pocasset team.

Position DetailsSchedule

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible scheduling with a combination of daytime and some early evening hours
  • Consistent weekly schedule designed to support clinician work-life balance

Caseload

  • Salaried position with built-in caseload support
  • Immediate referrals from our established waitlist
  • Build to approximately 25 client sessions per week over 8-12 weeks
  • Caseload focused primarily on young children (approximately ages 3-12) and their families

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient therapy to young children using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, and relationship-focused interventions.
  • Utilize play-based, expressive, and strengths-based therapeutic approaches to support emotional, behavioral, and social development.
  • Partner closely with parents and caregivers by providing education, coaching, and practical strategies to support progress outside of therapy.
  • Collaborate with schools, pediatric providers, and other community partners when appropriate.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation and treatment planning.
  • Participate in case consultation, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Massachusetts license or license eligibility (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Experience providing therapy to young children and families.
  • Strong understanding of child development and family systems.
  • Experience with play therapy, child-centered interventions, CBT, attachment-based, trauma-informed, or other evidence-based approaches for children is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for supporting children and strengthening families.
