About the Role
- Serve as a contact to the school districts we serve.
- Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.
- Prepare monthly work schedules.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors.
- Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.
- Oversee the maintenance function at your office and keep our vans in a high state of readiness.
- Review and prepare billing each month.
- Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Operations Manager or Vice President.
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience to positively impact the lives of children in your community by providing mobility without limits.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive work experience in a work environment that is fast-paced. management of hourly staff, and responsible for managing metrics.
- Proficient experience in the use of Microsoft Office
- Maintain a good driving record and enjoy working in an environment that is 100% committed to supporting our students
- Self-motivated, show initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable with early-morning hours.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and can successfully supervise and direct teams.
- Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and like solving problems.
- Maintain a very high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Must show ‘grace under pressure during extremely busy times.
This is a full-time, on-site position for our Methuen, MA office.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
