Responsibilities

SAFETY, QUALITY & COMPLIANCE

• Promote and enforce all safety rules, practices, and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and applicable regulations (ISO 13485 / ISO 9001)
• Support root cause investigation and corrective actions for defects, non-conformances, and complaints

PRODUCTION EXECUTION & THROUGHPUT

• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to meet schedule, delivery, and efficiency requirements
• Monitor production performance and proactively remove barriers
• Work with technical resources to coordinate changeovers, set-ups, and workflow to minimize downtime

LEADERSHIP & EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

• Provide day-to-day oversight, coaching, and performance feedback
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and skills development
• Address performance, behavioral, or attendance issues in partnership with HR
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment

COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION

• Lead shift huddles and communicate information goals, changes, and priorities
• Maintain accurate reporting, logs, and shift hand-off documentation
• Interface with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and HR as needed

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Identify and recommend process improvements, waste reduction, and productivity opportunities
• Support Lean/5S initiatives and standard work
• Help drive accountability to metrics and operational discipline

All other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role within a production environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to motivate and lead teams
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement solutions for continuous improvement
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges
• Computer proficiency (ERP systems, production reporting, MS Office)
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous
