Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support and manage a wide range of human resources functions. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting employees throughout their lifecycle with the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations issues by providing guidance and support to employees and managers
- Coordinate performance management processes, including annual reviews and check-ins at 90 days and 6 months
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communication
- Manage Worker’s Comp claims and OSHA compliance
- Assist with training and development initiatives
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate reports as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Paychex Flex is a plus
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
