Litigation Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a large, sophisticated law firm located in downtown Chicago. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 37.5-hour work week, WFH flexibility, full benefits, and competitive compensation.

Skills required and Job Duties include the following:

• Minimum 3-7 years of litigation experience within a large law firm environment; Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Strong experience with Relativity or comparable eDiscovery platforms, including document review and productions
• Provides comprehensive litigation support, including trial preparation and on-site trial support
• Proficient in legal citation checking (Bluebook/table of authorities)
• Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and managing discovery requests and responses, document productions, litigation holds, privilege logs, subpoenas, and related follow-up
• Ability to draft basic pleadings, including motions to compel, mediation summaries, and initial filings
• Handles e-filing in Illinois state and federal courts, as well as federal courts nationwide
• Comfortable supporting attorneys in a billable-hour environment, including an expectation of 1,500 billable hours annually

The firm places a strong emphasis on work-life balance while maintaining high standards of excellence. Hybrid work flexibility is offered, and salaries range from $80,000-$130,000, dependent on experience.
