Our client, a nonprofit organization is seeking an HR Specialist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Alexandria, Virginia. Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
About The Job:
- Provide administrative support to HR and Payroll teams
- Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries; escalate complex issues
- Maintain confidential HR records and update HRIS (Paycom preferred)
- Ensure compliance with I-9 and E-Verify requirements
- Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Prepare HR reports, compliance documentation, and presentations
- Plan and execute employee events and support HR projects
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
- 3 years of HR experience, including payroll
- Experience with Paycom highly preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Duration: 6-month temp-to-perm
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Temp Pay: $23-$26/hr
- Permanent Salary: $58K
