Part-Time Child Care Floater Teacher – Beacon Hill Schools
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Range: $14–$20 per hour (based on education and experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and energetic Part-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms throughout the day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well with different age groups, and can step in seamlessly to support teachers and maintain classroom flow. You’ll play a key role in keeping our program running smoothly during peak hours.
Schedule Details

- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool rooms as needed
- Assist lead and assistant teachers with daily activities and transitions
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning environment
- Support children’s learning through play, literacy, and hands-on activities
- Offer additional assistance to children with developmental or behavioral needs
- Observe children’s progress and share updates with teaching staff
- Ensure ratios are met and classroom routines are followed consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a childcare, preschool, or early learning setting
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate guidance strategies
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Familiarity with Montessori or similar educational models is a plus
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in multiple classrooms
