Beacon Hill at Eastgate is looking for a full time talented Maintenance Tech to join our amazing team!

Shift: Full Time Day Shift M-F

Wage: $18-20 per hour

Department: Maintenance

Summary: Performs work involving repairs and grounds work. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery located on the Beacon Hill at Eastgate (BHE) campus.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
• Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
• Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
• Paints or repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Provides groundskeeping services such as landscaping or snow removal.
• Fabricates or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings.
• Works within established guidelines to ensure compliance with state and federal building maintenance standards.
• Completes work orders in a timely and expeditious manner including completing high priority work orders prior to leaving for the day.
• Completes routine maintenance tasks as needed including, but not limited to:
• Provides support for trash and recycling removal.
• Completes periodic walk through inspections to comply with state and federal requirements. These include, but are not limited to:
  1. Water temperature checks
  2. Building Temperature checks.
  3. Ceiling tile inspections and replacements
• Removes trash and debris from the grounds.
• Completes parking lot maintenance which includes clearing (rubbish, snow, etc.)
• Completes exterior HVAC cleaning.
• Assists with projects as directed by Maintenance Manager.
• Completes on-call rotation for emergency Maintenance services.
• Completes rotation for snow removal.
• Informs security and/or appropriate management of emergency issues and concerns in a timely fashion.
• Completes set up and breakdown of equipment utilized for BHE events and services.

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 2 years of maintenance experience
