Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated young professional with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills to fill a mid-level position in our Alexandria, VA office. Responsibilities, usually in the context of litigation, range from research and fact-finding to detailed analysis, modeling, and case strategy.
Requirements
- A four-year college degree, preferably in business, engineering or economics;
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, project management, public accounting, financial services, or litigation;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability of leading communications with clients;
- Ability to work independently with limited direction, or within a team;
- Flexibility and creative problem-solving skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet client deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality in all client deliverables;
- Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and priorities;
- Ability to travel (approx. 0-10%) for client meetings.
Other Valued Skills
- Understanding of document databases and interest in research;
- Familiarity with or interest in construction projects;
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles;
- Primavera or Microsoft scheduling software experience.
