Beacon Gardens is looking for an experienced Plant Nursery Sales Associate to join our team in Osterville, MA.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a plant nursery, garden center, or related horticultural field is required. We're looking for someone with strong plant knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a hands-on approach to working in a busy nursery environment.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: Starting at $24 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Assist retail and wholesale customers with plant selection and purchases.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming nursery deliveries.
- Pull and prepare orders for wholesale customers.
- Help landscapers and contractors navigate the nursery efficiently.
- Support the Nursery Manager with plant care, watering, and displays.
- Keep nursery grounds clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Provide knowledgeable customer service and communicate effectively with the team.
- Help coordinate staff and daily tasks when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a plant nursery, garden center, or related horticultural field.
- Good working knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, and general plant care.
- Previous experience assisting customers in a nursery or garden center environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy seasons.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This is an active, outdoor position that requires standing, walking, lifting and moving plants and nursery materials, and working in varying weather conditions.
