An established aerospace manufacturer located north of Boston is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key quality initiatives and play a critical part in driving continuous improvement across production operations.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure Compliance: Uphold adherence to industry and customer-specific quality standards, including AS9100C and ISO 9001.

Drive Process Improvements: Utilize root cause analysis tools such as 8D and 5 Whys to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Perform Inspections: Develop and execute inspection protocols, testing, and statistical analyses to ensure products consistently meet stringent quality requirements.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve issues and support successful product launches.

Oversee Supplier Quality: Conduct supplier audits, assess vendor performance, and partner with suppliers to resolve quality concerns.

Maintain Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and manage records to support both internal quality systems and external audits.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline

2–3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the aerospace sector

Proficiency with CMMs and quality tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements
