Overview
A Robotics Deployment Engineer supports the installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of robotic and automated systems at customer sites. This role is hands-on and travel-heavy, requiring strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and independently in fast-paced industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and deploy robotic systems and associated hardware

Support commissioning activities, including functional tests, validation, and system bring-up

Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and automation components

Conduct on-site repairs, adjustments, and calibration as needed

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams on system readiness

Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical layouts

Document work performed and communicate daily status updates to project leads

Follow all site safety requirements and ensure compliance with company procedures

Train end users on proper operation and basic maintenance when required

Travel to customer facilities for deployments, retrofits, and upgrades
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field

Experience with installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning of automated systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Proficiency using hand tools, measurement tools, and diagnostic equipment

Strong problem-solving skills and comfort learning new technologies

Ability to travel frequently and work extended hours during deployments
