Laboratory Technician
Location: Bonita Springs
Pay: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Overview
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support testing and research activities in a structured lab environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience, as well as candidates with some related laboratory background. The position involves performing experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test protocol instructions
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures and results
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and materials
- Assemble and support testing of laboratory devices or setups
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Stay current on laboratory techniques and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred
- Entry-level candidates welcome; pay will vary based on experience
- Understanding of research and development processes and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour for recent graduates with little to no experience
- $26.00 to $27.00 per hour for candidates with relevant laboratory experience
