Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating and programming CNC machinery. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines and presses, and generate CNC programs.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of machined parts.
- Program CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for efficient machining operations.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in production processes.
